Aanloopgebied/Maascenter (006/2022)
In de periode van 18 januari tot 18 maart 2022 vindt er zandwinning plaats in het voorzorgsgebied Pilot Maas. Tevens vindt er zandsuppletie plaats aan de buitencontour van Maasvlakte 2.
De zandwingebieden bevinden zich in het voorzorgsgebied Pilot Maas ten noorden en ten zuiden van de Maasgeul, ter hoogte van de Maasgeul boei.
Het gewonnen zand wordt gesuppleerd op het Maasvlakte strand ten zuiden van de MV-C boei. Hiertoe wordt een drijvende leiding op het strand gebracht welke afwisselend op twee locaties in zee steekt. De uiterste posities in zee van de leiding zijn:
51 58.860’ N 3 57.769’ E en 51 56.306’ N 3 56.946’ E
De scheepvaart dient voldoende afstand te houden tot de werkzaamheden en goed uit te luisteren op de betreffende VTS sectorkanalen

From January 18 to March 18, 2022, sand extraction will take place in the precautionary area Pilot Maas. Sand replenishment is also taking place on the outer contour of Maasvlakte 2.
The sand extraction areas are located in the precautionary area Pilot Maas to the north and south of the Maasgeul, near the Maasgeul buoy.
The extracted sand will be replenished on the Maasvlakte beach south of the MV-C buoy. A floating pipeline is placed on the beach, which alternately projects into the sea at two locations. The extreme positions in the sea are:
51 58,860' N 3 57,769' E and 51 56,306' N 3 56,946' E
Shipping must keep a wide berth and listen carefully to the relevant VTS sector channels
